Does not glow.

There is no luminescence as shown in the photo. Not sure why they included that photo for this watch if there's no parts that glow at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Skagen watches are light on the wrist and very attractive. I have two of their hybrid analog watches and another quartz watch. This design is attractive, but not gaudy. Keeps good time. The watch was wrapped well in shipment.

After opening the box abusing the watch when I removed the plastic protection from back of the watch I found black spots like corrosion!

Beautiful blue faced watch. The only negative is the brown band and that's why the four stars instead of five. I switched out the band with a blue band that matches the watch face. It is now perfect.
