Haven't had mattress long enough

I've received two emails already asking for a review. Although I think it is a little too early to ask for considering we have only almost had the mattress for one month, here it goes. Within the first couple weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I hated it. I tossed and turned about twice as much as I used to on our old mattress. My husband hated how hot it made him feel, but we both wanted to give it more of a try. With our purchase came a few free Ghost brand pillows. I have always loved my pillow, which was a latex one with a bounce and a tendency to never to go flat, but I thought switching pillows might help. I have no idea why, but it actually helped me very much. I have slept much harder and longer through the night and I haven't had to use the pillow I had to put between my legs to help my spine align. I even feel comfortable sleeping on my stomach which was never comfortable before because it usually squished my chest. So far, my opinion of this bed has gone from a one star (if I would have been asked for a review within the first week) to a three star (since it has only been recently that sleep has gotten much better since switching pillows). My husband still feels indifferent to it because he is a hot natured man, and the bed seems like it hasn't solved that problem. I hope in another few weeks our opinions might change. One of the main reasons we decided on this bed was the 101 night sleep trial. We intend to take advantage of that offer if we feel the need to do so. But so far, it is better than our old mattress but not as great as I hoped it would be.

Easy set up....mattress sleeps cool...great support... 1st 2 days not comfortable 3rd night great sleep...would highly recommend this bed...pillows are also great...cant say enough....

This bed is AMAZING! I have had memory foam mattresses in the past from Denver Mattress, and I was considering changing to a BeautyRest but heard about these guys from a Podcast (Drinkin Bros). Hearing that they are a huge proponent to the Veteran community I decided to look into their products. I am so glad I did this - incredible bang for the buck; the mattress is the right amount of firm and soft, with excellent lumbar support. I have had multiple injuries lately (hernia and slight herniated disc in my back) and this bed has kept me unbelievably comfortable for a good night's rest every night. The pillows are the icing to the cake. They never seem "hot" i.e. I have not found myself flipping the pillow to get to the "cool" side as I have with pillows in the past. The design and breathability of the pillow allows them to stay at a comfortable temperature throughout the night. I sleep on my back, and the pillows offer excellent head and neck support as well. All in all, I have recommended this product to others, and am happy with my purchase. Much appreciated GhostBed!

It's not for everyone

After looking at multiple reviews for all types of beds, my husband and I finally decided that the Ghost Bed was the best choice for us. We are in our late thirties/early 40s, are in fairly good shape, but have continuous back and neck aches and insomnia from our old pillow top mattress. The Ghost bed looked like it would be a little firmer which my husband especially wanted. I wasn't so sure, but after seeing that ghost beds were still rated well for lighter weight people and side/stomach sleepers, I went along. The bed arrived about 8 days after we ordered, but our three pillows arrived after just a few days. The pillows smelled heavily of lavender, which concerned me that I might get a headache from the scent, but I was pleasantly surprised that it not only didn't give me a headache, but helped me sleep amazingly well. The first few nights of the new Ghost Bed pillows and our old mattress were wonderful! Possibly the best sleep of my life! When the mattress arrived, we immediately set it up (which was so easy!) and went to sleep. Or at least my husband did. I tossed and turned all night, my limbs continuously fell asleep, but the rest of me could not. My husband loves it, but I still haven't been able to get comfortable. We've had the bed for about 6 weeks now, and I'm get used it, although I'm still not sleeping well. We intend to keep it, but I'm shopping for a softer mattress topper since the bed is just too firm for me. I wanted to love it, but I think you need to be a heavier person to have it cushion and support you properly. I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs while my husband is 5'10" and 180 lbs. We would recommend this bed to those looking for a firm mattress or are on the heavier side, but if you are a light weight person, this bed will likely be too firm for you.
