[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased by the performance and power of the machines. The two batteries allowed me to mow, edge and clean up with some juice left.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Giving this two stars because I don’t really know yet the blower may be fine, but the battery stinks. The first time I use this, it was 78° outside. I was using it for leaf blowing. The battery died right away, giving a temperature error message (red light). Does not make sense to me. I had to let it cool down for over an hour before I could recharge it. Haven’t had the heart to go out there and see how long it lasts today. Feel like this battery is crap. Is this a known issue and can I get a New battery?

Hello Notsure. Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it is when a battery does not deliver the runtime you expect, especially right out of the box. Based on what you described, the red temperature indicator you encountered is typically tied to the battery’s built-in protection system. Lithium-ion batteries are designed to temporarily shut down if they become too warm (or too cold) during use in order to prevent damage, and this can result in shorter initial runtime or the need to let the battery rest before charging again. There are a few things that may help improve performance moving forward. Ensuring the battery is fully charged and properly seated before use is important, and allowing it to cool to room temperature between heavy use and charging cycles can make a difference. If the battery continues to overheat quickly or only provides very limited runtime after a few cycles, our succrss team can assist with further troubleshooting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Battery life not that great, but its overall a decent product. The blower is powerful and appreciate the lawn mower drives forward without you having to push the entire thing.

Hello Christiee813. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear you are enjoying the power of the blower and the ease of the self-propelled mower. For getting the best possible runtime out of your combo kit, a few simple adjustments can help: 1. Using standard power modes when conditions allow can extend battery life, saving higher settings for tougher jobs. 2. Mowing on a regular schedule and avoiding overly tall or wet grass reduces strain on the mower. 3. Setting a slightly higher cutting height can also improve efficiency and runtime. 4. Keeping air intakes and components clear of debris helps all tools run more efficiently. For longer run times, this system is compatible with other Greenworks 24V batteries, so adding additional or higher-capacity batteries (such as 6.0Ah options, where available) can help you work longer without interruptions. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and your feedback helps us continue improving our products. If you have any additional questions about compatibility or operation, Greenworks Customer Success can be reached either via Chat on www.greenworkstools.com or by calling 1-888-909-6757, and our team will be happy to assist.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this one in bundle and my back yard is around 2400 sqft and with single charge,I was able to do mowe,Edge trimming and blower operation. Self-propeled option is great addional of older people can do it as well.Power is enough to mowe around 5 to 6" long grass to 2 to 3" grass.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it’s a great mower just wish the batteries would last longer. I can’t even mow my back yard on one charge.

Hello Chad48. Thank you for your feedback, we are glad to hear you are enjoying the power of your mower. Battery runtime can vary based on grass conditions and usage, but here are a few tips that may help extend runtime. 1. Mow more frequently, cutting smaller amounts of grass reduces strain on the motor and batteries. 2. Adjust cutting height, a higher deck setting can improve efficiency, especially in thicker grass. 3. Use self-propel only when needed, reducing use of the drive system can help conserve battery power. 4. Ensure full charge and proper storage, charge batteries fully before use and store them at room temperature for best performance. 5. Keep blades sharp and deck clean, this helps the mower run more efficiently and use less power. For additional guidance on setup and best practices, you may find helpful video resources on Greenworks YouTube page by searching your model (MO48L520). If runtime continues to fall short of expectations, Greenworks Success team would be happy to review your setup and help further. We’ve used the mower 3 times and barely get through half of our small yard. Beware, up to 60 minutes run time, really means 20-30 minutes mowing and then waiting 2 1/2 hours for the batteries to charge. No option to return for dissatisfaction so I’m just out of luck. Very disappointing.

Hello Chris O27. Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear the runtime has not met your expectations. For this kit (1349002), the “up to 60 minutes” runtime is based on ideal, low-load conditions. Actual runtime can vary significantly depending on factors such as grass height/density, cutting height setting, terrain, and self-propel usage (if applicable). In typical residential mowing conditions, it is common to see shorter active mowing time, especially in thicker or taller grass. To help maximize runtime, we recommend, mowing more frequently to avoid cutting overgrown grass. Raising the cutting height to reduce motor load. Ensuring the deck and blade are clean and free of buildup. Using a slower walking pace to reduce strain on the motor. Confirming batteries are fully charged and properly seated before use. Greenworks 48V (24V x 2) 5.0Ah batteries generally takes 75 minutes to fully charge when using a Greenworks dual-port rapid charger. Charge times of approximately 2–2.5 hours are expected depending on battery temperature and charge level. We understand your concern regarding return options and appreciate you sharing your experience. If you need help optimizing performance further, our support team is available to assist.
