Weeds be gone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine works well and holds a charge a long time. This trimmer is easy to use, lightweight, and whips weeds effortlessly. My backyard was full of weeds and I took this product made quick work of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer is lightweight and easy to use. The instructions were easy to understand, and the trimmer was easy to put together. The one disadvantage is the cost of purchasing additional batteries. If you have a larger yard, the one battery will need to be recharged to finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my Greenworks Tools 24V Torquedrive weed trimmer and edger recently. First of all, it was really easy to set up out of the very protective box. The battery charger is small profile like the battery pack is --- which is really good to see, rather than the bulky charger/battery packs of the past. Charged up really good and I am ready to go. The whole unit is very light, so my arms will last longer when edging. So I went out and did some edging. The Greenworks trimmer is really quiet unlike my old trimmer with gas. No fumes with this trimmer too. I used to get oil on my pant leg and shirt from the muffler with my old trimmer. No oil on the pants/shirt with this,--- great. The large handle on the Greenworks trimmer is really nice for control. The power is great with the Greenworks trimmer, and 24V Torque power you can really feel. The battery can be used with their other 24V product too, which is nice. I like the fact that with this unit-- it turns on and off with no idling. The trimming string feeds smooth and with no hang ups. Really nice safety foot guard so that you do not strike your foot with the string. Has a guard for going around plants which is a nice feature. I went trimming for a straight 30 minutes and it held up great overall. I recommend this trimmer for the average homeowner. Alot of great stuff in one box, and great for the environment in being a battery charged trimmer. Thank you Greenworks for the smooth 24V Torquedrive trimmer/edger.

Like It, but hope the battery lasts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This string trimmer is a great replacement for my old gas and oil trimmer. The assembly was quick and easy, and the weight is perfect for my 5 '3" frame. The initial use produced just under 30 minutes of trim time which is quite acceptable. I just hope the battery will have a long life because new replacement batteries carry a hefty price. So far, I'm very happy with this trimmer.

Not so bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to this battery operated trimmer I have always used gas powered so I wasn’t sure what to expect. To my delight it works well! I love that it is adjustable and lightweight. It did the job and I was pleased with how my yard looked at the end. It’s not the most powerful yard tool I’ve used but I would recommend it and worth noting it’s better for the environment than gas, which is an A+ feature for me.

I received my string trimmer as a gift. I have a 1/4 of an acre that I used it on and did the job. I still had battery power left over after the first use and enough to trim again the following time. I would highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is without a doubt the best trimmer I have ever had.
It is super easy to assemble and powered by a battery that charges in one hour.
It is lightweight with an adjustable, telescoping shaft where you can also turn it so the head becomes an edger. I have not had this capability with any of my previous units.
They have really thought of everything when they designed this unit. You will love it.
