[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being close to 80 the self propulsion feature is unbeatable on my hills and inclines. The blower is superb, very efficient. The trimmer works well but gets too heavy for me, not the trimmer's issue, but mine. I'm not very good with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] seems good but I thought the mower was self propelled so it's almost impossible for me to use due to handicaps

Hello bergerhthrb7,

Thank you for choosing Greenworks for your lawn care needs. This kit is a push mower. This information can be viewed in the description and features prior to purchasing. A self-propelled lawn mower has a drive system to propel it forward while a push mower relies on manual effort to move. A self-propelled mower can climb hills with very little effort on your part, but a push mower is an affordable way to mow a flat yard.
We have product experts available to answer any questions and concerns you may have, and we will work with you to ensure that you pick the platform that best suits your needs, we are sorry we were not able to assist you prior to purchasing this kit.
Should you have any questions or warranty needs, please contact us directly through chatbot on Greenworks Tools website that will direct you to a Live agent or call us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution.

Super happy I bought this!!

I just used for the first time today. I live in Michigan and normally we do not mow until the end of April at the earliest. I have under an acre and use an electric riding mower for the bulk, but also do quite a large area with a push mower. I was shocked how much I mowed and still have 1 bar left on each battery. It more than surpassed what I was expecting. It's very easy to use and I love the self-propel feature; my first mower with it. It's super quiet and I love that it folds up easy. I couldn't be happier that I purchased this and I did a ton of research before I picked this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and charged the batteries until full. The machine only ran for 15 minutes before it died. I would not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this lawn mower.
It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! This unit is advertised as running up to XX minutes, but it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains.
Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time.
1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings.
2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months.
3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily.
4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.
5) Only use the self-propelled feature when needed. Self-propelled mowers do use more battery than standard push mowers as more power is being demanded from the battery to run the blades and the wheels.
We hope these tips will help! If not, we would be happy to investigate to see whether your run time would be considered average; please contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by chat on www.greenworkstools.com. All we ask that you have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.
