80 volt battery Charge is too short will work for about 20 min and it’s drained. I can’t do my work because I have stop to recharge it. It’s a bummer and your extra battery costs more than the unit itself. So I won’t buy a 2nd battery. I sense a rip off so I won’t be buying any more of your products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have many Greenworks tools. Chainsaw great , pole saw great, shears weak, pressure washer 24volt pure trash broke immediately, 80v batteries udder trash. Quit charging very quickly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has been my go-to for 6+ years along with the 4.0 & the 2.0 for quick jobs because of the lighter weight. These are durable workhorses for sure! Love all of the 80v greenworks tools! Lawnmower, blower, inverter, polesaw, stringtrimmer & edger.

This thing is a joy to use. Just as much power as a gas edger attachment, much less noisy. It is a massive upgrade over the electric one that I was using. Edging was a chore I hated and thus was done rarely. Dealing with the cord and having to make several passes was dreadful. This tool makes the job fast, simple and easy. It pairs well with the 80v blower for cleanup. Depending on yard size, you can likely get through both tasks on one battery. But I'm glad I got another battery with this to help keep the blower going when the leaves come down this fall. Well done Greenworks!
