I have two Greenworks batteries, which came with my leaf blower and lawnmower. I was afraid they had played out, as when I put them in the charger, their lights did not come on. I ordered this renewed one while I waited for a new one to be in stock. But then I left both of the originals in their chargers for the recommended 20 hours, and they came back to life. I feel great now to have all three of them! Greenworks are great products!
Bought this.. is failing to charge now after few months

Hello Leo6. We are sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing with the battey. To help troubleshoot, we recommend first ensuring the battery is fully seated in the charger and that the charger is plugged into a working outlet. Check the charger indicator lights for any flashing patterns, as these can signal temperature-related delays or charging issues. If the battery was stored in a very cold or hot environment, allow it to return to room temperature before attempting to charge again. It can also help to remove and reinsert the battery a few times to ensure proper contact. Greenworks renewed 80V 2.0 Ah battery (SKU 2901302-RC) is backed by a 90-days limited battery warranty. If the battery still does not respond on the charger after these steps, we recommend reaching out to Greenworks success for assistance. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.
Extremely disappointed with the build quality of this sprayer. Went to use it for this season and in is leaking like a sieve. Only been used maybe 6 times since buying June 22, 2024. It’s leaking from where the tank screws into the green frame support from under the tank. It appears to be coming from where the nuts are precast into the bottom of the tank. I’ve tried rubber washers to seal and it doesn’t help even a little.

Hello RickT528 We are sorry to hear about the leaking issue you have encountered and understand how frustrating that must be, especially with limited use. Based on your description, it sounds like the leak may be occurring at the tank-to-frame connection point, which is not expected during normal operation. We appreciate that you have already attempted to address it with additional washers. As a next step, we recommend ensuring the tank is not overfilled, checking that all fasteners are snug (but not overtightened, which can stress the tank), and inspecting the area for any visible cracks or separation around the molded inserts. If the leak persists, the unit may require further inspection or service. We encourage you to connect with the Greenworks Tools customer success team so they can review your case and help determine the best path forward. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.
I bought this with the lawn mower last year. I used this 80 V 2.0 Ah battery less than 25 times and it is dead.

Hello Longman. We are sorry to hear about the battery performance, an 80V 2.0Ah battery should not fail after such limited use. Before assuming the battery is no longer functional, we recommend a few troubleshooting steps. Eensure the battery terminals are clean and free of debris or corrosion, confirm the charger is operating normally (solid or blinking indicator lights can help diagnose status), and try charging the battery on a different compatible Greenworks charger if available to rule out a charger issue. It is also important to store and charge the battery in a temperature-controlled environment, as extreme heat or cold can impact lithium-ion performance and lifespan. Given your usage history, this may be covered under the 4-year battery warranty, so we recommend reaching out to Greenworks support with your proof of purchase for further assistance. They can be reached either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The extra 80v 20 amp battery is a great addition with my lawnmower for those days that the grass is longer and the mower/battery have to work harder. I wasn’t sure about buying a reconditioned battery but honestly I can’t tell it apart from the 20 amp battery that came with my mower.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and am impressesd how long the battery life is. I have an acre of lawn to weed eat around have only charged it agter 3 uses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful and charges fast (especially for a 2.0amp battery!) Quality that I expected from Greenworks!
