Bad batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had 2 batteries that won’t charge within 2 years of owning them. These are pretty expensive to go bad so quickly.
Pros: Easy to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A lithium-ion battery lifespan is determined by the charging and discharging cycles and is dependent on many different variables such as: storage, temperature, charge, and handling. In optimal conditions 80V lithium-ion batteries typically have a lifespan of up to 2,000 charging and discharging cycles (1,000 with a rapid charger).
A “normally” used battery can last over 1000 cycles. A cycle means that the battery goes from fully charged to empty and then fully charged again. A battery is considered a consumable and over time may lose the ability to store the same amount of energy as it did at the beginning of its life cycle.
While we only work with the highest quality products, nothing is always perfect, but not to worry Greenworks 80v lithium-ion batteries are offered with a 4-year (homeowner) limited warranty. Good value battery

Leaking tank - very disappointed

Bought the 80 volts sprayer in feb 2024, used it multiple times last year and was happy with the performance. I have a big yard and it is very helpful to have a battery powered sprayer in lieu of the manual pumps. Unfortunately today, I pulled it out of my garage to spray the yard and was disappointed to find out that is leaking from the tank making it useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place.
