Charged it and went to use it a few days later and it was low. Gonna try it again to see if it does ok.

Hello Glen frazier,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with your battery/charger. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you still require further assistance, we would be interested in hearing more about this issue. Please submit an email using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).

I have used the 24v 74.0 Ah battery with my impact driver. The battery is very powerful. Also used it on my sweeper. The battery is great. I will get another one.

I ordered the 5.0ah battery, but was shipped the 2.0ah battery. I am sure Greenworks will get this corrected.

Had this for two months, it started off great, but as I go to charge it so that I can make use of it, I realized the charger LED light wasn’t blinking to show it’s charging, so I put another battery in its place to check if it was the charger, but it would charge the other battery. I tried on the other charger but still wouldn’t blink the LED lights. I left it to the side while I did yard work, and when I come back to do another checkup, I picked it up and was very hot to the touch. I wonder if internally something is wrong, but it’s a shame that only two months worth of usage and the battery is dead, otherwise I would give a better rating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Batteries seem to hold a charge for about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour of work. Recharge time is about 1/2 hour to 40 minutes. With three batteries and 1 charger, I can manage to get about 2 to 2-1/2 hours worth of work done in a session. The next size up in batteries, or a couple of extra batteries and a second or third charger would pretty much give me all day capability, but for my purposes, 2-1/2 hours is plenty of run time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
