Won't Charge!

I just purchased this new battery (Model# 2949702AZ) and it won't charge. Charger continues to blink red after 3 hours of attempting to charge. I replaced the original battery that was only 1.5 years old with this new purchase. The old battery was doing the same thing and now this BRAND NEW battery won't charge either.
Pros: Easy to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. Ensure the battery is firmly seated by applying firm, steady pressure during connection. After attempting the troubleshooting tip and, the problem persists.
