Material is cheap plastic. It’s weird but it does the job. Good for a small job not a big yard.

Bag is frustrating

The mower itself is excellent. Perfect size and weight to mow the steep hills in my yard. The bag however is TINY! I have to empty it every 2 minutes. The bag does not stay connected to the lid very well so I get sprayed with grass frequently and am always trying to reconnect it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To install the catcher bag please follow the instructions here:
1. Put the four screws into the washers to attach the bracket.
2. Move the bracket into the groove.
3. Align the latches and the slots of the top and lower halves of the grass catcher and push the two halves together to interlock.
4. Push the latch of the handle into the grass catcher.
5. Open the rear discharge door and hold it.
6. Hold the the grass catcher by its handle and put the hooks over the slots.
7. Close the rear discharge door.

I've mowed with this 4 times now, and it works well. Be warned that the battery only lasts a 1/2 hour, and at 13 inches, this is a small mower. But what you give up there, you more than make up for in the other features. It's super lightweight, easy to manuveur, and quiet enough to listen to audible books while using.
When I had bigger lawns, I also had bigger mowers: gas push mower and a gas riding mower. I needed them for the big lawn, but for my little area, this one is great! Perfect fit for a smaller lawn.

Recently purchased this. Really like the power and that it is light weight. Like being able to mulch or bag. Also like the USB ports to charge the phone while mowing.

Far exceeds expectations

What a great way to mow the yard.... no electrical cords, no gas, no oil and no pull cord. Small but Mighty. Bought this because I already had some 24V tools; this is yet another worker! Mows with little effort, and gets the job done. Likely not a good choice for a huge yard, but and excellent choice for smaller yards and very handy for obstacle ridden areas of any yard.

This lawnmower is so light you could carry it through the house to mow the back. I bought an extra battery so run time is plenty for my small yard. Electric power... no smell, no trouble starting, no outta fuel; this is the best solution!

Perfect for my small yard at my condo where I don't need a big bulky mower. I actually store it on a shelf since it is so lightweight and has no gas or oil to spill. Battery works on a couple of my new power tools
