[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for about a month. Great value for the price. Easy to use. Does a good job. Very light weight. The battery could be improved to last longer on a single charge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just brought it and arrived on 7/3/2024, First impression seems kind of small and to be honest cheap. But it got me wrong, did the job perfectly and it did impress me. Lets see how it goes from now on.
Unless you have a very small lawn with grass that doesn't grow very fast, this thing is basically useless. It clogs constantly, you either have to use the bag (which you are constantly emptying) or the mulching disc (which keeps stiff on top of the blade and kills it). The charge is enough for about 1/10th of my lawn. And when it dies, recharging takes 4 hours. If you're looking to save money, just buy a used lawnmower that can handle the job. Only get this if you barely need a lawnmower at all.
Pros: Environmentally Safe

Hello Stg7. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with this product. We are concerned to read that you are feeling let down and that the unit has not fully met your expectations. Our 24V line is ideal for light-duty work. The higher the voltage on a product, the more power you will receive and the heavier job you'll be able to tackle. With a higher voltage does come a higher price point but depending on your workload, it may be necessary. Not only does it make the job easier, but it is safer to use the right tool for the job. Greenworks designs our units to be competitive in runtime with other brands that are of similar size and features We would be happy to investigate to see whether your run time would be considered average; please start a Live Chat on www.greenworkstools.com or contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).
Just got delivered today. Died and cut off several times. Grass is not high and have the mower on highest adjustment and still dies every 5 minutes. Very frustrating

Hello Lppp.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear the unit is stopping during use. There are a few reasons this may happen.
1. The machine stops during mowing. The baled height is too low. Try increasing the height. 2. The battery pack is out of power. Remove battery and charge. 3. The grass clippings attached to the deck or blade. Remove the battery pack and check the deck. Do not use water to clean under the deck. Be sure to clean the deck underneath of your mower as well, any build-up of debris could affect the performance of the unit and prevent proper power. Do not spray water under the deck of the mower. For caked-on grass, use a scraper to get rid of the grass, and then you can use a damp cloth to wipe off and loose pieces. Finish by wiping with a dry cloth and spraying lightly with a silicone spray or lawnmower deck spray. 4. The battery pack or machine is too hot. We suggest, cooling the battery pack until its function returns to normal. This is best done by bringing the battery into the shade or indoors. We also recommend, cooling the machine for approximately 10 minutes while battery is cooling. Remove the battery from the tool to help the tool cool down more quickly.
If after going through these troubleshooting suggestion and the do not yield results, contact Greenworks by Chat on www.greenworkstools.com or by phone 1-888-909-6757. So we can help you best. Thank you.
Mower works great. I have yet to run out the battery mowing my smallish lawn. I wish the lever to adjust the mowing level was a bit sturdier. It’s just thick plastic that you have to pry out and snap into place — seems easily breakable.
Unfortunately, my 13" 24V mower malfunctioned on initial use. The unit would run for 1.5 minutes then shut off repeatedly every 25-35 seconds. When it did work, it was a very good, strong little mower. After a 21'day wait, the recommended repair shop had not updated me, so I re-contacted Greenworks about my need for a mower and they agreed to send me a new replacement. We'll know more in a week or so once it arrives. My hope is that it works and performs we'll, as I want to build a small group of yard tools based on the 24V power sharing. I am satisfied with service so far, but I'm a patient man at 71 yrs of age! (LoL).
