This is a pretty standard cordless vacuum and we bought to replace a handheld Dyson whose battery went to junk. I do like the hanging stand that holds all of the attachments. When it comes to the vacuum though I do not understand why they give you variable speed options. I think this is a marketing gimmick so they can brag about higher runtimes (at low-power) and additional features. We always use high speed for everything, which is about the same power as the 10 yr old Dyson it replaced. With the 4ah battery included, we get about 15 min run time. The main reason we got this model is because I already own about 5 24volt batteries and a large portion of the 24 volt power tool line from Greenworks so we always have full batteries and swapping is easy. If I were buying a cordless vacuum, I would buy one that I already have batteries for as you will need several batteries to do any cleaning with it. I would add that Greenworks has always stood by their products whenever I had any issues in the past.

I purchased this vacuum because I was looking for a cordless vacuum and liked that I already had a couple tools that used the same battery. Likes- -Cordless -utilizes batteries I already have -stainless steel filter housing makes it durable and easy to clean Dislikes- -The trigger power button-Where are you supposed to put your finger after you have turned it on? You have to hold your index finger out of the way of the trigger or are constantly turning it off and on. Who does this feature market too? -The "brushless" feature simply disconnects the head from suction. It doesn't disengage the beater bar and as a result, has done a number on my brand new rug that required a brushless vacuum. -The dust cup is really small and the connection from the hose to the cup is so small it is constantly clogged. -The battery life on super high suction is under 10 minutes, on low it is 45 minutes. Not sure how anyone else vacuums but when I do the whole house it takes me at least 2 if not 3 batteries. I am constantly changing the suction level based on the surface I am cleaning to preserve the battery life. I miss my corded vacuum...
I am keeping it because it works and I don't want the hassle of a return but I would not recommend this product and I am not sure I will buy anymore of their tools. We also have the shop vac (I have already glued the hose back together a couple times after owning it about 6 months) and the lawnmower (no issues so far). The products have low quality and poor design.

It's not bad. Good run time on a full battery and at medium level. The only complaint is emptying it. About half the trash (mainly hair) does not come out easily. You have to take the filter out and clean it too...if I were you, have an old brush, i.e. toothbrush, nearby so you can completely clean it.

I already had a Greenworks weed trimmer and chain saw, so when I saw an ad for their vacuum cleaner I ordered it immediately. I've been pleased with the fact that their batteries have lasted me for years. And when the vacuum arrived I really liked the way it came packaged in cardboard, when you open the box, the various parts of the vac are nesting in a cardboard form rather than plastic or styrofoam, so I wasn't stuck with bulky trash to get rid of. The vacuum battery charges really fast and and it comes with all the useful attachments.

Great suction power, quick charge, long run time. Excellent on hardwood, tile and linoleum floors. Wouldn’t recommend on an entirely carpeted house, area rugs it’s fine. Only vacuum that we’ve used that the attachments do not scratch the floor.

Works well even on low speed! At high speed the suction is so high you can't move the vacuum. Good to have the spare battery, but I can do the whole first floor and stairs.

Really happy with this 24v vacuum! Attachments are easy to swap. Really love the stand! Glad I bought that as well! It charges both batteries and has too storage.
