Great package for small to medium yard care

I bought this set for our second home in Florida. We did not want to keep any gasoline in our garage during the hot summer months.
This set works perfectly for our small yard. I get all of my grass done with one charge. I even have power left to blow off the driveway and walk.
Mower is quiet and cuts the grass evenly. We love the blower so much we bought one for our home in Ohio.

Annoying mower safety feature and bad batteries.

We are very unhappy with both our 48v two battery GreenWork's mower and it's 48v two battery trimmer. The mower has a very annoying feature that locks the wheels when you need to back up and, recently, one of the smaller 24 volt trimmer batteries no longer recharges. We do not recommend GreenWork's products.

For self-propelled lawn mowers, feeling resistance or locked rear wheels when pulling backward is usually caused by the internal wheel drive gears remaining engaged; to disengage the rear clutch drive smoothly, completely release the self-propel drive bail and nudge the mower forward about an inch or two before pulling backward. Regarding the 2.0Ah trimmer battery that is failing to take a charge, we recommend wiping the metal contacts clean on both the battery and charger, plugging the charger directly into a working wall outlet without an extension cord, and ensuring the battery is allowed to reach normal room temperature before placing it on the charger, as extreme temperatures trigger a built-in safety lock out to prevent charging. If your battery indicator light still shows a solid red error after checking these steps, please reach out directly to Greenworks Customer Support at 1-888-909-6757 or visit our online support page so our team can evaluate your tools and assist you further.

We recommend checking that the spool is not overfilled or jammed, ensuring the cutting line can feed freely, and removing any grass or debris buildup around the trimmer head and guard. It can also help to use smooth, continuous cutting motions and avoid forcing the tool through dense or thick vegetation, as this can cause the motor protection system to temporarily stop operation. I have had my set for about 4 years now and it does a good job. My only issue is the weed eater string does not advance, I have to pull the line out . Finding replacement parts is not easy on this sight.. I'm so glad I bought an extra set of batteries. I have around an acre with crappy weed grass coverage and it takes both sets of batteries to finish.
