Amazing little device!

So small and light. Very easy to set up. Will be part of my range bag from now on. Caught all 10 of the first shots for which I used it. Easy app too. Can’t say enough good about it.

I have had multiple chronographs over the years and this Garmin beats them all.
Small, easy to use, you don’t have to shoot through a gap between wires, no bayonet hanging off the front and the unit sits behind the line of fire. Get you one if you are looking!

Great results

Other than a few high or low readings, which could be a difference in power throws, it’s really good. Shipping was fast. It was smaller than I expected. Really good for rifles, have not had a chance to shoot anything else. Automatic updated upon first connection. I do wish the app worked in real time without closing out a session. But otherwise really good. This is the first chronograph I have owned so not much to compare other than the class I recently took had 8/10 garmins on the line. All 8 performed flawlessly one of the other brands had issues and my garmin confirmed issues with other brand. The other never turned on.

Must have piece of equipment

If you are serious about long range shooting than this is a vital piece of equipment. The Garmin unit is accurate, reliable, and makes getting velocities so much easier than other styled chronographs. Nothing hanging off your barrel, so setting up a tripod in front of you and messing with sun screens that never seem to work correctly. This is a must-have.

From great to meh after forced update

This is a absolute game changer for zeroing a rifle. Being able to collect MV from different loads is extremely helpful, especially since a lot ofammo manufacturers MV are from 20"+ barrels. I used this along with the AB and it's chefs kiss. The unit itself was very intuitive and user friendly. ***UPDATE*** 8/9/25 My unit no longer works properly after being forced to install an update. I had read that the latest update was causing issues, so I declined them each time I turned my unit on. Last week, I was forced to update and then it wouldn't track shots. I used it again today and same issue. I did a factory reset and the problem persists. I am going to reach out to Garmin and see if they can fix it. Update to follow. ***UPDATE 2 *** 9/6/25 After working with Garmin CS to find a solution, it doesn't seem there is one. The unit has a harder tone analyzing shots when they're are a lot of hard surfaces close by. I will be shooting this in open fields next week and shot have another 500 rounds of data, so we shall see

Great chronograph. Had a caldwell for a bit. Setting up was a pain, holding up the firing line constantly to get the distance and height correct. Small window to shoot through to get a reading and not shoot the chronograph. I would load 5 rounds of each and hope that 2 would get good readings or any reading at all. OK, long story, the Xero C1 eliminated that ENTIRE process. Set up is really easy and you just set it on the bench and shoot. THATS IT!!! Hasn't missed a reading yet. Accurate and saved $$$ on ammo trying to get readings. Awesome product for sure. The app could use some work, like adding folders to separate calibers and loads but seriously, not complaining.
