I am not a techno person and was able to get this up and running in silly short amount of time. It’s light weight and sets up like a breeze. Turn it on and immediately you’re getting bullet data feedback.
I've owned several chronos. The GARMIN XERO is by far the fastest to set up, easiest to operate and most reliable I've seen. I love it...you will, too!
My only is that when I export more than one string of shots to an excell file, the notes do not come over. The notes are important to me they include powder charge and primer. Otherwise I love this unit and would recommend it without hesitation.
After some research on similar dollar products and other chronographs. This one is the best choice. Simple to use, reliable, doesn’t have issues with cloud cover or heavy rain and wind. I have ran thunderbolt .22 up to 45-70 and many calibers in between. No issues. The app on the phone allows more refined session detail than using the Xero C1 by itself. Not having to shoot through it is a huge bonus as well. The Xero is small light weight and charges quickly.
I haven't chrono's that strap on to the muzzle, bunny ear's and everything in between. I didn't want get a large setup that performed similar to this in nature as it was to much to lug around. In come the C1 and wow couldn't be simpler to setup, take 5 seconds to config and start shooting.
Been shooting pellet guns, arrows, to .50 cal. Never missed a beat.
Highly recommend if you are thinking about it, don't look back.
