It's such a handy and accurate tool to have. I use it for reloading data for my rifles right now, but I plan on using it for my bow also. Everything worked as expected.

Best chrono ive ever used

The set up and usability is second to none! Turn it on and it tells you where to position it in relation to your barrel or arrow tip. Its made it easier to dial in custom loads. Next ill be using it on my crossbow to get a fps on my bolts. No need to be an expert to use this its pretty much dummy proof. I could give it to my 6 year old daughter and after a few min of direction she could use it. If you're looking for a lightweight chronograph for anything you would like to know the speed on this will do it!!

Had to get one of my own

All of the high speed guys in the military have been using these to test and assist weapon development. After those experiences I had to purchase one for myself and it does not disappoint.
My first time using it was on a 500 yard range with my brother and father - neither of them had ever shot out past 100 yards and were intimidated by that prospect. During the zeroing of our rifles I was using the Xero to collect everyone's muzzle velocities and after some number crunching we had our ballistic tables. The use of the chronograph was so easy my father (70) was able to set it up and use it while I was helping another person at the range.
With the muzzle velocity and projectile information we spent the remaining time ringing steel at 500 yards much to my families astonishment. It was interesting to see the differences in averages from actuals (chronograph) vs the data on the ammunition boxes.
My dad had such a good time he is now building a 'long range rifle' to reach out to 500 yards more often. Having the right tools makes things easy and allows you to focus more on having fun. This chronograph is a great leap in portable technology. Well done Garmin!

Tracks bullet speed very good. This product is very easy to use! And will definitely be buying another one. One for at home and one for in the range bag. Very very pleased with this product!!

Gone are the days of setting up a chrono and having the wrong light source etc. The Garmin is simple to setup and the app compliments to track and store your setups.
