I have switched from 3 other chronographs to the Garmin. I have found it to be more consistent from unit to unit and extremely accurate. Set up is simple. Downloading and comparing data is easier than ever before. I now use these at my range and during training sessions. The simplicity makes this a perfect tool for the new shooter up to the professional.

Enormous features in a small package

If you are a shooter that uses magnified optics, you will at some point need to know some ballistics data. Before this product, the chronographs out there were big, bulky, complicated and expensive. SOMEHOW Garmin successfully dealt with all those draw backs in this one little package. Accurate. Easy to use, Packs up nice and small and at a very reasonable price - there is a reason this is one of the fastest growing accessories for serious shooters.

Major Upgrade in Convenience and User Experience

I'm a competitive precision rifle shooter and have been a user of a different doppler chronograph for years. The alternative worked well enough, but was a bit cumbersome to include in the range bag and took some finesse to set it up. I splurged on the Garmin hoping to have something more portable and versatile. Why did I wait so long? The Xero is such a nice upgrade. I can easily take it on any range trip. I can attach it to the rifle (with hardware not included from Garmin) to measure velocity mid-match, and it is incredibly robust with shot detection. I've used it with my suppressed .22 and it doesn't miss a shot. Bluetooth connectivity with the app has been seamless so far and the entire user experience is simple and intuitive. This thing is great.

This chronograph literally changed the industry. Great for shooting both firearms and arrows. Used it at the rifle range. all the details work as intended. Nothing did not work.

Successful first 2 range sessions

I've been able to use the Xero C1 on 2 different range sessions. Setup is incredibly simple and this unit has not failed to pick up a shot regardless of rate of fire from 25 grain .17 Hornet at 4087 fps to .380 ACP at 827 fps. It picked up my .50 cal muzzleloader below the velocity threshold setting at 1350. It also measured 223 at 3100 fps at a moderate rate of fire, faster than the unit processes shots, and it was able to catch up once I finished the string of 10. Not 1 missed shot. Now I've got some handload development to test and I have confidence that I will be getting consistent data to work with. I would highly recommend this chrono based on my first 2 sessions with it.

Have used many chronographs in the past. This one is so much easier. I am more likely to take it to the range because of the ease of carry and ease of use. The menu issuper easy to get right to work.
