I’ve had the chance to run the Garmin Xero C1 chronograph out in the field, and it’s honestly one of the most practical and well-designed tools I’ve added to my setup.
Right from the start, it’s incredibly easy to use. Setup is quick, the interface is straightforward, and you’re not wasting time fiddling with complicated menus or alignment issues. That matters a lot when you’re out shooting and want to stay focused on your rifle and your data—not your equipment.
What really stands out is how fast and accurate it captures ballistic data. The Xero C1 picks up shots almost instantly and gives consistent velocity readings you can trust. Whether you’re working up a load or verifying performance across different ammo, it delivers reliable numbers every time.
I also like how versatile it is with mounting. I attach mine to a mount that connects directly to the ACRO rail on several of my rifles, which keeps everything streamlined and field-friendly. No bulky setups or awkward positioning—just a clean, efficient system that moves with your gear.

I finally broke down and purchased. Very easy to setup and use. I first tried it using my bow and then finally got a chance to use with my rifle. Just starting to reload. Also have been building arrows and is useful there as well.
Only gave it four stars. Would love a way to share without using an export option through the app. But that is just minor.

Never Missed A Shot

Howdy: I've been using this for over two years now and I has been Great. It hasn't missed a shot since I've had it, easy to set up and the rechargeable battery last for 2 to 3 outings. My only thing that bothers me is that there is no numbering system. I shoot numerous amounts of refining reloads and lot testing 22 ammo and it gets too confusing when you get get home and try to get it all sorted out without each session being numbered over time.

I have only used it 4 times so far on three crossbows and a 17 cal.
My buddy has been wanting to get one because of the accuracy and how small and portable it is !!! It performed perfectly and is super easy to use as I like to know how fast my projectiles are moving for countless reasons. AWESOME PRODUCT and I plan to use it alot , THANKS Garmin I believe this ones a winner for me .

Easy setup, easy to use

My only is complaint that when I export more than one string of shots to an excell file, the notes do not come over. The notes are important to me they include powder charge and primer. Otherwise I love this unit and would recommend it without hesitation.
