Best ever

Over the past several years, I’ve used three different types of chronographs. This is hands-down the best chronograph I have ever used. No more worrying about the sun or strapping heavy objects to the barrel. It’s super small and lightweight, extremely easy to set up, it appears to be extremely accurate, it provides all the relevant information, it has really good battery life and I can get velocity while shooting groups. Garmin hit a home run with this one!

Perfect tool

I was looking for a chronograph for a long time. I am glad I chose Garmin Xero C1 Pro, it more spendy than others, but so worth it, a deck of cards is bigger. Comes with a perfect little tripod, sets up in seconds, captured every shot, bluetooth to your phone with the Ap, separates your sessions. I could not be happier..

Easy to use in every aspect

I finally got a chance to go to the range and try out the Xero C1 chronograph. I did watch some official Garmin videos on basic functions—particularly on how to sync the data to the Garmin app on my phone—as well as end user reviews. Even if you don’t read the manual or watch any videos the Xero C1 chrono is super intuitive and easy to use compared to the old standard which was the Magnetospeed.
The set up is super easy and you don’t have to worry about potential projectile strikes like on other chronos. Syncing the data was stupid simple; just make sure to keep up with starting and ending your sessions if you’re shooting different ammo and/or firearms.
In my case I was shooting 2 different precision rimfire bolt guns with their own respective ammo the first time I tried out the Xero C1. It was great being able to quickly quantify how well my buddy’s rifle and ammo combo was performing.
If you’re on the fence just go for it. The small form factor and ease of use are completely worth it.

Amazing Tool

I love to shoot, but by no means am I a super long distance shooter. This tool helps me be as precise as possible and comes with an extremely user friendly operating system. I ran into someone the other day that was even using it to crono their airsoft gun. I would 100% recommend this to anyone that wants to figure out how fast their bullet, pellet, or arrows are flying.

Provides excellent accuracy and functionality for low development. So much easier now with the system set up like this would recommend anyone looking for the chronograph.

This is a very well thought out chronograph. It's easy to set up and connect your phone to. Keep track of your hand loads in your phone. You're even able name those sessions on your phone.
I like that you add your bullet weight and it gives you your ft-lbs for that load.
Really it's a great tool. Easy to set up and use. Light so doesn't add much to your range bag.

I've had many other chronographs and this one is far superior to all of them. I've used it extensively and don't think it's ever missed a shot. Sends the shot info to the app flawlessly. Organizes the data. A great purchase for anyone that shoots a lot and wants to know their shot data without a hassle.

Top chronograph for ease of use

Small, light, easy to set up and use, clear and visible display, reliable pickup of shots.
Having used chronographs for load development for 30+ years, this is far and away my favorite and the easiest to use. No longer do you have to set up downrange in a limited window and wait for a cold range to adjust or reset while worrying about shooting your chronograph. Or clamp a sensor to your firearm that changes its harmonics and handling. Or carefully place and aim and add specialty hookups for suppressed firearms. The Garmin stores easily, deploys almost instantaneously, and picks up reliably. I've yet to miss picking up a shot, and haven't had to struggle with proper alignment to do so.
The only downside over my previous radar chronograph is the Garmin does not allow a second velocity reading downrange to enable calculation of actual ballistic coefficient. But the reliability of the Garmin greatly outweighs that in my opinion - I'd only had that function in my one previous unit - and the newer ballistic calculators also do a good job of providing the data you need to calculate everything for a given projectile. Plus you want to confirm any calculations with actual shots on target anyway.
