I Couldn't Be Happier With My Garmin C1 Pro

I purchased my Garmin a month ago am pleasantly surprised at how user friendly and accurate it is.
I had owned 3 traditionally chronograph in the past, all of which required annoying sky screen and tripod set up which took some of the fun out of my shooting experience for the day. After accidently damaging my pre ioue chronograph, I decided to give the C1 Pro a try.
The Pro is so easy to use. Once powered up, all you need to do is select type of firearm, velocity range, bullet weight, place the unit with the screen facing you to begin your session. Refer to manual for placement of firearm in relation to unit.
I highly recommend this unit fir it's ease of use and accuracy.

Great Unit

This was well worth the money. It is ridiculous easy to use! Sit on the bench facing the target and shoot. It syncs perfectly to the phone so you have all the shots recorded for your records. I've used it for rifle and handguns and it never missed a shot. Shotgun, not so much. For some reason it only records about half of my shots. Maybe it's me but I'm doing what the instructions say. Anyway, shotgun is not a big deal to me. I just wanted the velocity for my trap loads and I can pretty much tell that from the recoil. I have not set up my old chronograph and compared velocity so can't attest to the accuracy of the unit but who knows if the other is dead on? If you're on the fence, make the jump and get it. You won't be sorry. It is SO easy. You're not going to go to range without it.

Setup instructions take a lot for granted

My son talked me into getting it. Said I would like it. So far, I do. Once set up, it is easy to use. I like that it can be set up close to the shooting position and is not overly impacted by high winds.

I’ve only had the opportunity to use my Pro chronograph once since I got it a few weeks back but I can tell you it’s easy to set up and use. I’m very happy with my purchase.
