I’ve used the C1 twice now. Incredibly easy to set up, use, and read. So easy I didn’t even have to read the manual. Even worked with .22lr ammo. Never had a hiccup and caught every round nearly instantly. Pairing to the app was seamless.

Chrono Made easy

So when this was released I was skeptical. But after talking to a few buddies they were really happy with it. So i decided to borrow a friends before i purchased my own.
After testing it with 5 diffrent rifles and probably 2 dozen varies loads I found it to be awesome. Easy to use, the app is easy to organize. And a data nerd like me really loved the export feature for excel.

Using Comes As Second Nature

Having other types of chronographs--and their time consuming set-ups--I've found this so simple to use. So far I've only used it on three rifles; 270 Win, 375 H&H, and 338 Lapua Magnum Ackley Improved at speeds from 2709 to 3410 feet per second. My Xero's gotten everything down. Like the others I so have to remember to turnit on!

Enormous features in a small package

If you are a shooter that uses magnified optics, you will at some point need to know some ballistics data. Before this product, the chronographs out there were big, bulky, complicated and expensive. SOMEHOW Garmin successfully dealt with all those draw backs in this one little package. Accurate. Easy to use, Packs up nice and small and at a very reasonable price - there is a reason this is one of the fastest growing accessories for serious shooters. After a 3-day Precision Rifle Course in NM with Barrett - you see that EACH person there had this same chrono, including the instructors in the course. If you are taking a class like that from a company like that and it is THEIR gold standard - that should tell you something.

This is a great and compact chrono for shooting or archery. Small enough to fit in a range bag or pack. Seems to have great consistency and provides the information needed and expected. At this time I do not have any negatives and this would be well suited for anyone at any experience level.

The setup could not be any easier. I’m transitioning from the old style with the arms and reflectors. This is way easier to setup and I really like the size of the display.

Cutting edge technology

I've had this Garmin for about a month and its the best money I've ever spent on a piece of equipment. When you think about the price of good scopes and rifles, it is the most inexpensive component to making you a better marksman. Range time is valuable and its easy setup and accuracy allows you to get more time on the trigger and invaluable data for the reloading room and load development. I love it.
