ease of use. being able to set the chrono on the bench or attach it to the rifle instead of fighting a tripod on uneven ground

Easy to use and like that it pairs with compatible devices when doing target practice at the range. It's durable and has a decent battery life. The screen is easy to read and it's light weight

Great Chronograph

So far it’s been great. It’s pretty accurate and very compact. The app is cool too.
I have had Chrony's, Ohlers, and lately a Lab Radar. The time it takes to set these up and get consistent reading has been a pain. Turn on the C1, Start a new session, put it where it recommends and shoot away. Having all the numbers in my phone for each session makes post shooting evaluations very easy. If you are going to reload for consistently this is the easiest it's ever been.
I received the Garmin Xero as a gift and have had it out a few times now. It works great—even with slower rimfire ammunition. The rechargeable battery is a nice bonus, too.
I’ve been really impressed with my Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph. It’s compact, simple to use, and gives incredibly accurate readings every time. Setup takes only a minute. Just place it down, power it on, and start shooting. The Bluetooth connection to the Garmin app is smooth, and I like how it automatically tracks my shot strings, averages, and velocity data for different loads. It’s also surprisingly durable and fits perfectly in my range bag. Battery life easily lasts through long sessions, and it performs consistently in any lighting condition.

Just dial in your firearm, bullet weight, and expected velocity, and this thing tracks every time. Directions say to set up 5-15" below and in front of the barrel, but I've found the setup tolerance to be much wider than that.
