Super easy to use UI and very easy to travel with and use at the range for building sight tapes or tracking hand load velocities.

Works great and simple you use. So much better than my old Caldwell chronograph that you have to setup in front of your rifle and shoot through. Works great chronographing everything from my bow to rifle. Easy to use, simple to setup.

Garmin Xero

I've been chrono-ing my reloads for 20 years with a list of major bands. My old routine consists of "Setting up tripod, adjusting, lining up and checking sun shades / wires". Not to mention, the possibility of shooting the chronograph sunshade supports or a missed reading. Garmin Xero is the size of my palm. Setup consists of powering ON, place the mini tripod/Xero between 5-10" behind the muzzle (left or right side of barrel) and shoot. Xero has not missed a shot reading yet. XERO will always be part of my shooting routine! Thank you Garmin
This thing is so easy to use! Set up is idiot proof. Drop it on the bench next to you or hold it up next to your buddy. Accurate speed readings! Couldn't be happier!

I have and have had many different chronographs and this will be the one I always bring to the range. Simple and works without any issues.
Works as advertised. I’ve used this to compare various factory loads for biathlon and found surprising a some not so surprising variations. I’ve also used this for comparing some hand loads of various calibers to the predicted velocities. You do have to make sure you don’t shoot too fast before the chronograph has time to reset for the next shot. Also, if shooting at the indoor range next to a high caliber, you can pick up your neighbor’s shots.
You can also export the data to Excel to log results or slice and dice the data as needed.
Overall, I’m quite happy with it.

Best chronograph on the market

I bought this to chronograph my Ravin R500 crossbow, worked great. Ended up using it for my other crossbow Ravin R29x which was chronographed at a bow shop using a Caldwell chrono and they said it was shooting 431 and the Garmin said 448. Put the new tape on it and it shot tighter groups. If you want the most accurate chrono for a bow or crossbow get the Garmin.
