Garmin has made using a chronograph so very easy!!! Just set it on the shooting bench close to the barrel and shoot. Results go to an app on your phone!

I have wanted a good chronograph for load development for quite some time. When I saw Garmin had a new one coming out I was early to buy one. No disappointment, Garmin delivers a great product that works better than advertised.

Best Chronograph

I bought this chronograph to replace my Magneto Speed and an old type Caldwell light bar chrono. So far I'm extremely pleased with the performance of the Xero. Easy setup, easy read out and the recorded speed matches well with the Magneto Speed as far as I was able to verify. The synchronizing with the phone could be a bit faster but the app for the phone works very well without any crashes. I can highly recommend the Xero because of it's accurate measuring, ease of set up and the fact that it is not dependent on a light source or has to be attached to a barrel.

Best chronograph to date

I bought this a few months ago and have used it a ton. I have tracked around 2000 shots so far and I can count the number of mess ups it has had on one hand. I started using a Chrony wing chronograph about 20 years ago. Since then I upgraded to a Magneto Speed that worked very well, then I bought a LabRadar and finally I upgraded to the Garmin. The Magneto speed worked well, but I didn’t like that it changed my POI a little. It caused me to have an extra step in the reloading process. The LabRadar worked pretty good. I used it for about 4 years. The only gripe I had was its size. It did a good job picking up the velocity. It wasn’t quite as consistent at tracking as the Garmin. The setup on this chronograph is so easy! It is not finicky at all. I highly recommend it!

Garmin C1 Pro - Simple, Compact, Reliable

The Garmin chronograph is a game-changer. Compared to the old sky screen type, it's a breeze to use. Compact and easy to handle, it fits in my range bag without taking up much space. Most importantly, it's reliable. No more fussing with clunky equipment that only works in perfect conditions, so I seldom use it. With the Garmin, I'm always ready to go. A bit speedy, but my favorite gun related purchase in a long time.

A Must Have for Any Serious Shooter

Oh course I use this as part of my testing of my reloads. I also now test the factory ammo I use. It is just too easy to not do it. Fits in a tiny bag that came with a Nikon Coolpix camera I bought 20 years ago. It’s so small I could loose it in my range bag.
