Simple and easy to use

I looked at a few different radar chronographs and read a lot of reviews before deciding on the Garmin Xero. One thing that stood out to me is the simplicity of the unit and the app both. Some of the negative reviews I read said the app doesn't act as a ballistic calculator or have enough features. That's a plus to me, keep the system simple as to not complicate range time. Shoot, make a few notes on the app and then plug the info into the ballistic calculator of your choice.
So far I have used the chrono with both air rifle and working on loads for a Ruger LRT rifle in 300 Win Mag and it has not failed to pick up a single shot. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Best chronograph I have purchased

I am an aircraft mechanic and installed Garmin Avionics in airplanes for over 25 years. They are the top of the line. On my bass boat I have Garmin sonars that again are the top of the line. When I saw Garmin had come out with a new chronograph I knew it would be the top of the line. Using this chronograph is extremely easy. It registers my shots, it tracks it, and gives me the information in a very simple logical pattern that I don’t have to mash a bunch of buttons to figure out.
I recently started messing with the app for the chronograph and found out how well it’s stored all of my past range sessions without me doing anything. I have a ton of paper log books where I’ve tried to maintain data in the past and I never have it when I need it. I always have my phone so it’s easy to look back at data and everything is filed by either the rifle or the ammunition so I can make sense of all my past data. I am definitely a big fan of this product.

Awesome Shooting Tool!

I saw this used on a YouTube channel. I decided it was about time to add some science to my Muzzleloading hobby. This thing is compact and easy to use. If shooting pistols, a tripod would be useful if not shooting from a bench.

So easy to set-up and use! It will be able to bring my handloading and long-range shooting to the next level. Settings are easy to adjust, whether using it for high power rifle or PepperBall launchers, it easily gives readings needed to make sure things are operating safely and in the range wanted.

Worthwhile investment

This has been a fantastic product. Use this to tune loads for my 6.5 Creedmoor primarily, but I have used it to test pistol loads as well and I’ve not had any issues.
This is a solid purchase.
