I have had 4 different chronographs over the last 25 years. This is by far the simplist to use and as accurate as any that I have owned.

The only reason I didn't give 5 star review is because of the price point. I received this chronograph last month. It was late in the evening, but I really wanted to try it out. I read the directions and was able to establish the velocity of my crossbow bolts. Very cool that I could use it on low light situations. Later on, I took it to an indoor range and it performed perfectly. I just returned from an outdoor range and am very pleased with the operation. I have tried the bayonet style chronograph and didn't feel like it was a good solution. I have been using an optical chrono for a few years now, but it is a pain to set up. The Xero is small enough to fit in my spotting scope case. It sets up in less than a minute. It will be going with me on every range trip.

Works like no other chronograph I have ever used. Additionally the app that automatically uploads your data to is very, very good.

Garmin xero

I own numerous chronograph, none of which is as easy to use as the Garmin xero. Turn it on, set your parameters then point it at your target. Easy peasy. Logs all your data so you can export it to excell later. Love it. Several shooters at my club admired it and said they were going to get one. Garmin knocked it out of the park with this one.

Great Chrono!

I purchased this to check my subsonic load velocities. This chrono worked flawlessly. It is simple to set up and it pairs with the phone app for great reference and to add notes to your shot string. Great product.

Ditch your old skyscreen or big heavy lab radar. This is the way to go ! Especially when its on sale, If you load your own ammo you need one.
