Easiest chronograph I've ever used

Tried it with pellet rifles, different types and calibers of handguns, large caliber rifles, with and without suppressors...it has never missed a shot. My V3 is on the shelf.

Perfect Record

The Xero has captured every shot I have sent by it. Pistol and rifle. It’s simply a pleasure to use. I’ve chronographed for others at the range and sent records to them with the app. They were very appreciative. One friend went home and ordered one that evening.

Perfect for my use

I've had this dor a few months now and couldn't be more pleased. Quick, easy set up at the range, no skyscreens to fool with and biggest plus: it hasn't dropped a shot! Battery life is good so I haven't had to use my battery bank at all. Bluetooth data transfer to my phone is impeccable. What's not to like?

I have had this for about two months now... It works just as good as they say, even better. I have placed it in front of the 25yard targets, 50 yard targets and 100 yards, it read as if was beside me on the bench.. does not drop shots, transfers info to my phone easily. records and avg and ES,SD fast.. Shows each shot and total shots for each groups, battery last long time worth ever penny you spend. I carry it in my rifle bag most of the time.. only takes couple of mins to setup and your ready to shoot for hours....

Haven’t been a big chrono user in the past but that is rapidly changing. Very user friendly and seems really reliable and very easy to setup!

Very reliable...

I have just less than 1000 rounds through the Garmin Xero C1 Chronograph so far... I have used several chronographs over the last decade or so, as a baseline. Pros: 1. Convenience of setup is in a different class than any chronograph I have used. So simple. Turn it on, enter a couple of options, unfold the stand and set it down within the on-screen recommended range of the muzzle and begin. 2. The app works fine for the Android phone I use and auto-updates when you connect it to your phone. 3. The strongest point would be sensitivity and functional reliability. It works with everything from12ga slugs and 8mm Mauser to 2mm Pinfire (662fps avg with 0.5gr round ball), and has never missed a shot from any of the dozen firearms chronographed.** I can't say that for any other chronograph I have ever used more than once. 4. VERY hard to shoot. As a mass dispatcher of working optical chronographs, if I shoot this one, there must be an award or at least a t-shirt. 5. Ultra-compact. Coat pocket sized, handle tripod and all. 6. No idea the battery life, but I have only charged it twice, so it must be exceptionally long. I have never used it for more than an hour straight, but many times. Cons: 1. Price. Higher cost than most others. Worth it for my shooting habits, as I have shot more chronographs than some people have shot guns. (When people see my junk yard of shot chronographs... "Jesus... I guess it's chrono-season, and you bagged your limit!") 2. Being relatively expensive, the screen is a little primitive and not so bright for my old eyes. It is a reflective type of LCD screen like a 70's calculator or early handheld game system. I didn't expect a cell phone screen, and it does do the job, but just ok. **3. Still a minor thing... reset speed is a little bit slower than I wish. The only shots the Xero C1 has ever missed were caused by me getting back to the trigger a little too quick, before the reset. Not the units fault, but I do like products that make up for my faults.
The cons are all minor to me... and I am giving this product 5 stars as there is nothing better I am aware of. It is literally in a class by itself. I have shot this in parallel with a couple of optical chronographs and they are all about the same... "not enough difference to make a difference." (PH) If you are a chrono-killer or just want a very reliable chronograph, this is a very good product over all.

Really a great device.

Purchased this a month or so ago and have used it three times. I first tested it on my 6mm airgun and the Xero C1 Pro Chronograph worked every time. I tested it a second time with the same air rifle to show some friends and they were impressed. The last time I used it when shooting some 22lr subsonic rounds and it never failed to register the shots. I had owned a "sky box" chronograph and setting it up was a time consuming task. With the Xero C1 Pro, it is a snap. I will be using it soon on my new AR 223 Wylde and 300 BLK uppers.
