I keep this next to my front door at all times. Originally kept a friend's Brooklyn Whopper there, but when he needed it back, he pointed me to this site to get one for myself. The Basher is more my size, easier to swing competently. Excellent!

I got the Brooklyn Shorty by my bed, the Basher next to my recliner in the living room, and the Crusher behind the front door. Love these things! Heavy hitters and perfect persuaders.

I'm about 5' 3" 168lbs and this bat is perfect for me. It's just heavy enough to really get a good swing out but not too heavy to be unusable. If you're looking for something that you can instantly feel good with, get it! Then, work with it. It will soon begin to feel like an extension of your own body.

24 inch bat. Instantly when I held it for the first time, I wanted to test it on an old printer or junker car. Bought as a gift for a baseball fanatic for home defense. Long but small enough to one hand. Solid product.

I just received the Basher and it's my top choice for defensive purposes. It's just the right size and weight for either one or two handed applications. And has the right length for close in situations. All of Cold Steel's Brooklyn series are great.

Will definitely do the job! Awesome bat for home defense or the batting cages, but would have to use gloves because there is a jarring vibration when smacking a baseball site to the polypropylene. I've purchased a number of Cold Steel products, and am pleased with them all. Another winner guys.
