Used to be good but the paper is now TERRIBLE

I started a bullet journal practice in the fall of 2020. In the winter of 2021 I got one of these Tru Red notebooks and loved it comfortable size simple good price. Went back and bought two more (one in black and a second in a cute pale gray) and I HATE them... the paper is thick-ish but somehow cheap feeling stiff and the notebook went from a pleasure to hold and write in to a little bit gross. I gave the gray one to my kid am forcing myself to use up the black one and when I'm done I will celebrate by buying a moleskine. Sad they couldn't keep the paper quality to what it was.

This is a great book for bullet journaling but it's a little pricey. If it had a third ribbon and a pocket in the back it'd be worth the current price. The business card holder in the front really has no use for me.
