I have not used them yet but they are a tad small to be very useful. I think they are too small for a side salad or a bowl of ice cream which is what I was I hoping to use them for at outdoor events. They do seem water proof. I don't understand why they only have the orange color when the plates are blue/teal. I wish they made a bowl that held 16 ounces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bowls are good and sturdy for multiple purposes. I was not able to use in my office but at home we used for cereal (liquid) and for snacking and all worked well. Held up to the temperature changes and the products inside and color was a fun add to the product. They are not particularly large but good for group gatherings where large portions not needed or expected. I would recommend them as good purchase for office breakroom use or places where large portions not needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these bowls daily. They hold a lot of liquid and do not become flimsy when they have things in them. I am always using bowls for painting snacks and even left overs in my fridge. This bowl will do the job and you will have no worries. I would recommend this product to family and friends especially those with little ones.
