Terrific Product - Really Useful Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Post-it Notes are so much a part of our lives that it is nearly impossible to remember when we didn't have them. Oddly enough, I do remember when I first saw them. In the late 1970s, a physicist friend of mine who worked at one of the US National Laboratories came with a small packet of the yellow notes in their original size. He had been given a sample by 3M and he was crazy about them. Carefully, as if sharing a piece of original art, he peeled off 4 notes and gave them to me to try -- showing that he considered me a really valued friend! Even with only 4 Notes to try out, I was an instant convert. Suddenly, I could mark a place in a book, indicating on a note why I had saved that spot. I could put a note on the telephone to remind me to call someone back. I could do any of the thousands of things that we all know Post-it notes make possible. I carefully used, erased, and re-used my precious stock. I was delighted a year later when I spotted them for sale at my stationery store. I've been a deeply dependent user ever since!
This size -- 4" x 6" is perfect for writing longer notes, for making lists, for capturing quick sketches. Even better, the Super Sticky adhesive means that the note will stay on rougher surfaces (a car dashboard, for example), sticking until you are finished, then releasing without leaving a mark.
Post-it Notes are so much a part of our everyday lives that writing a review is a little difficult. We know the thousands of uses they have; we are confident they will stick then release; we appreciate the different sizes and colors. But recalling my first little sample, received around 40 years ago from a friend reminds me how special, how useful, and how helpful these sticky little pieces of paper are in making life easier.
I received a sample of this size free from 3M, asking me to provide an unbiased review. This positive review it just "paying it forward" in celebrating a great product that was perfect from the day it was first created. Keep up the good work, 3M!

Big pads for big impact

The colors of the Miami Collection are so vivid, they really catch the attention when used with a bright or black marker. Another winning combo - as Super Sticky notes, they stay put until purposely moved.

Nice Colors and Larger Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a good larger size from the standard 3" x 3" pads. Long enough to write more notes or information. The colors are just about right and doesn't overpower any pens I may use for writing on them. You can expect the great stickiness of each sheet for sticking on different kinds of surfaces.

Perfect size for my to do lists

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are fantastic. I love the strong adhesive where I can stick to my computer, take off to add something and restick it without it falling off. The colors are bright, just have to be aware what color pen I'm using. Brown, black and blue are best. Gel colors of green, light blue or pink don't show as well.

My oldest daughter actually found that she loved them for writing. She would use them to underline certain sentences that didn't "feel right" to her. She'd write down the words that she felt she could change and then get her thesaurus out. She'd write sentences with new words and have them right where she needed them when she'd rewrite her paper.
We never had any problems with slipping or the notes falling so it really turned out that they were very helpful.
They're basically twice the size of a regular post it so they're great for lists too. They come in an assortment of colors which is nice and you can't beat lined paper that sticks right where you put it!
Free sample for me, but now I'll be buying some.
