My teenagers love these and are very smooth to use on paper and for test. The fine point is very easy to use and makes writing nice on paper

When Your Writing Must Be Precise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out the Paper Mate® Flair® Porous-Point Pen, Ultra Fine Point, 0.4 mm, Black Barrel, Black Ink and found it to be quite different from writing with a standard ball point pen. This capped pen has an "ultra fine" felt-like tip. It's ink comes out rather slowly when writing, so quick, broad strokes (like a signature) may lighten or stop writing. And yet, the ink would likely leak out if left tip to paper, while it would likely dry out if the cap is left off.
This pen is more intended for precise writing like in greeting cards, journals, or artwork.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Paper Mate is a well known brand and this product is just another product that I can add to my love list.These pens write so smooth.These pens are great for the office,home,or even school.I really love that these pens have the ultra fine point which makes writing so much more entertaining and makes writing look neater.Overall,just a great ink pen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great pen, it writes very smooth and h the ink does not clump up on the page. I love the fine tip to make it easier to write very small. It also feels great in the hand while writing for long periods of time

Nice, fine point marker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use craft paper envelopes and always have a hard time finding a pen that will show up on that dark background and will write fine enough that I can address the envelope (small space). This writes like a fine tip marker and fits the bill! Wish it was refillable!

A really “fine” pen

It’s great for adding special details as well. I’d encourage you to give these a try if you’re looking for a “fine” pen.
