I use these yellow tablets all the time as I research and write - and they come in handy for just plain notetaking for new projects. I find the yellow pads easier on the eyes than the white ones. Use them on a daily basis.

The paper is thicker than my last set of Staples memo pads. Which is nice. But the pages seem less perforated and they don't tear off evenly. I won't return them. But I also won't buy them again.
