Horrible Ghosting But Great Flexible Cover

I purchased this journal due to the description and reviews that stated the ghosting wasn't bad. I should have gone with my gut and reordered my Tekukor. I have used a bullet journal for several years now and ghosting is very important to the majority of us. This journal most certainly doesn't fit that requirement. I didn't even finish my first page before turning to check the ghosting. Wow! Is it bad - so bad it even got onto the next page as well. I use Stabilo Point 88's for my everyday pen and have never had a problem with the Tekukor (I'll post some comparison photos - oh wait - I just realized I can't post photos). To say the least if I could return this I would!

It is very difficult to find dotted (not lined) journals. This was perfect! The weight of the paper is just right for ink as well. And you can’t go wrong with Staples shipping.

The cover and marking ribbon is just as high quality. It feels like this will last as long as you need it to. The grid well your imagination is the limit! No more limiting lines.

Paper thickness is decent. Takes most gel pens I have been using (such as Tru Red Pentel Energel Metal tip 0.7) as well as my Tombow Dual Brush pens and Staedler Twin-tip handwriting pens without any severe bleed-through on the pages. One thing I would suggest is that it might be nice to have a pocket on the back cover to stash loose pages or notes but that's okay. Loving the notebook so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tru Red journal is a convenient size 5 1/2 x 8` to keep in my bag. I can keep my notes on various projects organized. Then when back in the office I add them into my computer. I always have them to look back in if I am unsure of something.The dotted pages make it flexible for drawings and organizing. There is also a helpful attached bookmark to keep your place.The cover is good quality to keep the contents safe and it looking good. I recommend this journal
