The journal book serves as a note taking book for business meetings when there is a need to also free hand draw. The dots give you guidelines for writing straight across the page while at the same time allow you to free hand draw accurate pictures of what needs to be remembered. The ability to book mark two sections in the book with the two ribbons gives me flexibility to maintain my current writing page and book mark an important item to go back later and find it without having to fold a page corner as a reminder.
I bought this for next year’s Bullet Journal. Cream paper unobtrusive dots and two ribbon bookmarks. No pen loop or rear pocket but I don’t use those so I don’t mind about that. Paper is fountain pen friendly using a Lamy 2K fine with DeAtramentis scented ink; non-bleeding smooth and not too absorbent (i.e. will probably show off shimmer/sheen inks but needs either blotting or a minute of dry time to not smear.) Surprisingly nice for the price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do love this journal and I use many of these. The size is perfect as it will fit easily in a purse and the number of pages is considerably more that other brands which I really like. In addition I like that rather than lines there are the small dots to help keep the writing in line.
This is a great book for bullet journaling but it's a little pricey. If it had a third ribbon and a pocket in the back it'd be worth the current price. The business card holder in the front really has no use for me.
