Not bright yellow

These look to be made from recycled paper. They're a dingy yellow and the finish isnt smooth. Wont purchase again.

thin rough paper tears with pencil

Regretably this paper is terrible. I've used Staples canary tablets for years but somehow this paper got worse and is not the same. It has a rough surface thin ripps EASILY with a pencil (an I don't have a heavy hand) and it has a terrible feel to write on. So bad that I returned it and bought their nice Signa canary tablets. More expensive but at least nice to work on.

Paper is so thin that pen sometimes cuts through the paper. Cardboard back too thin to support writing.

I had to order these for my work. I shopped around online at a few different places and did price comparisons. Having Staples Rewards definitely is nice - free shipping! This was a great value and I love having things shipped right to the office.

Pads are great. Hubby uses them to write of his adventures growing up and mailing them to kids grandkids and great-grand. Definitely would recommend this product. Especially like the wide lines.
