I really have no idea why these are the best. They write smooth, the ink dries fast, they are comfortable in your hand. I am a pen snob, I have paid way too much money for a pen to just fall short. I ran across these by mistake and have loved them ever since! The black is actually black and not a faded blah black.
Ahh, the Ease & Flow of a BIC Gel pen! If only relationships could roll so smoothly. Unfortunately, it’s often the source of many precarious & precautions partnership and/or friendship fragmentations; beginning with “Hey, is this my G Pen homey?” followed by numerous verbal and nonverbal inquiries in addition to interesting “but in left mine over...here & there” memories. Our GAME AMP P.L.A.Y. crew HAD TO purchase a box of 36 to call down any “Gel-Stylo-Anxieties”...intermittently & immediately!
I recently purchased a 2-pack of this pen for work. I generally love Bic products; however, this has been a disappointing purchase. The pen writes fairly well, but both pens broke on their initial use. The first pen clip broke the first time I tried to slide it over my shirt pocket. It was not a thick pocket, but the clip is extremely brittle. The second one went over the pocket just fine, but snapped when I went to pull it out the first time. I am generally not one to complain, but these pens cost more than others I have used, but the quality is just not there. Come on Bic, you are better than this!
I bought these at a small side store that carry these individually which is great. I am able to test them out without having to purchase a whole set in case I didn't like them. I have seen these hanging in the office stores for years and never tried them. I am so sorry I haven't, because I have been missing out. I recently just bought the Cristal bolds, that is one heck of a pen if you haven't tried it. It IS BOLD. These pens do write as a 0.7 mm. I wish they had bold because growing up in the 60's we did not have all these choices of colors and point sizes from fine to bold or broad whichever you choose. And they really do not smear. I like the thickness of the barrel, you have something to really hold instead of a stick pen. They are rubberized and would probably be good for someone with arthritis. And they write fast too. I am having alot of fun with these and only had them for a short while. You cannot go wrong with these. Bic, you did good with these and the ones I mentioned earlier.
