Leather Notebook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether I was carrying my backpack or a purse the Tru Red Notebook is the perfect size. It doesn`t take up too much space and the elastic band kept it closed so the pages wouldn`t get crinkled which is very important since my backpack is typically full. There are two bookmarks which is something that I didn`t think I needed but I could see the value in having two. The notebook is very sturdy and the ruled pages are of really good quality - not flimsy. It`s a little plain but it looks sleek and professional. You can feel comfortable using it in a business meeting class or as a journal. There`s a tiny pocket in the front that I guess is to hold a business card. I didn`t see the purpose of that at all. Other than the tiny pocket there`s nowhere to hold other pieces of paper. It would also be helpful if there was an ink pen holder. The notebook would make a really good gift especially if you`re looking for gifts for coworkers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ruled journal is bound nicely in a flexible leather-like cover and has a nice feel to it. I do like the fact that is is flexible. The pages have a nice soft feel to them and are in an ivory color that is pleasing to the eye. This color of page is better than a bright white as to not strain the eye. Writing on the paper is satisfying as it has a nice feel when pressing ink to paper. The journal is a good size not too small but not too large. The page markers are handy to use to get back to where you were writing to quickly. The outer elastic band secures the cover nicely but I could see this enlarging with alot of use.

This is a great size Journal to have with you at all times. The journal comes with a rubber band binding so that it does not oprn and the pages get worn out and it has a page marker on the inside as well. It has thick paper so any pen you use will not bleed through to the next page I love my new journal.

Staples nailed it on their first try. Well thought out page design with edge to edge ruling for business (and students for that matter).High quality heavyweight paper to limit felt tip bleed. No tearing when you happen to push too hard with an ultra fine steel tip. Cover is durable enough while remaining lightweight. Pocket divider is well placed and made of durable high plastic.
