perfect paint for young children

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I had all of the grandkids over and we painted pumpkins for Halloween. Aside from my teen and adult kids that joined in we had 3 children ages 7, 3, and 2 painting pumpkins. That being said we all know how messy toddlers can be with art supplies, so along with putting shirts over their clothes so they did not getting paint on their clothes, I wanted to make sure that we used paints that were both nontoxic and washable. Prang washable ready to use paint fit both requirements, which is great considering the 2 year old tasted his paintbrush at one point, and the others, including one supposed adult lol, got paint on their hands and decided to put painted hand prints all over everywhere. Well let me just say WOW, the paint washed off very easily on everyone's hands, face and arms, and then tonight after I washed the shirts they all wore to paint in I was pleasantly surprised to see that all of the paint on their shirts washed right out. No scrubbing, no prewashing, and no pretreating, just tossed them in the washer and bam, no more paint! This would be a great product for schools, daycares, and even for fun crafts for the kids! I love it and will be using it for a long time to come.

Not opaque

I was very disappointed that the paint doesn’t cover even on plain white paper.
Unfortunately I bought 6 different colors and they need multiple coats to become opaque. I may as well have used watercolors with the kids! A total waste of money!

Vibrant colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My four little girls are loving using this Prang paint. The vibrant colors come in easy to use squeeze bottles, and the paint dries quickly. Best of all, the paint is washable. It came off our hands and our painting surface easily.

Great brand and quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I teach preschool and love prang paint products. Colors are true with lots of pigment. Perfect consistency, not too thick or thin. Washes off tables and hands easily. So far a haven't tried to wash it out of clothes. I really like the squeezable bottle too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my kids to use while making crafts and we all love it. Its a nice rich blue color and has a nice slick texture to it once dried. It is washable which I love because they had it all over their hands and table and it all came off really easy so its great for small kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this paint for my kids they love don't ng arts and crafts with finger paint .This is suck a great bright blue paint I love how it will wash out of anything but it looks great on and thing you use it on . My kids really enjoyed this paint and I will get more colors for them it makes such beautiful pictures or any art you want to make with it and also non toxic its ready to use and comes in a big 16 oz bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this paint it was a nice consistency and a beautiful blue color my kids did hand painting and it was a easy clean up very washable and didn't have a strong odor it was very mild and was one of the best paints I've ever used. It can be layered up if you want a thicker paint other wise its thinner and lighter but after a few coats gets darker and is very nice.
