[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pages of this journalare made from very high quality paper. The lines are nicely spaced. The top right corner has a place to date your entry which is convenient. It also has 9 12 and 5 entries on the left of some pages for planning purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to journal make notes & goals and then hopefully be able to complete them. The feeling of being able to cross something off your list is unlike no other. This journal provides ample space to write daily weekly and monthly goals. It offers a pocket and tips & reminders. The lined pages are a perfect width. Sometimes you just want to write big!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This journal was wonderful to open! It has a thick hardcover so I know it will hold up to lots of use and travel. Inside are pocket flaps for storing loose paper and a label for the spine. I really liked that feature because I keep lots of journals for different purposes and having a label was really helpful. The journal had mostly regular lined journal pages but also several that had a to-do list format on them that I really enjoyed. The paper is very nice quality even heavy pens don`t bleed through. The one thing I would really like is a bookmark even a simple ribbon in the binding.Overall it`s a great journal and I`ll likely get it again when I need a new journal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a `starter` journal...it is basically a collection of a good number of lined pages but not much else (I appreciated the perforated `to do` lists that happen every few pages but like another reviewer said it would have been nice to have those in the back of the book instead of being torn out of a journal page...another reviewer questioned the numbers but I believe that are for times of day...so you can list the things that need to be done in the morning afternoon and evening). The book is high-quality with solid straps to hold it shut and hold your pen. The paper inside is thick enough that my rollerball pen did not seep through which was great. I wish there had been an area with calendars so you could use it as a planner and not just a journal. Overall you may want to go with a more extensive version if you want to use it for anything other than basic journaling.
This is absolutely a terrific book notebook to have. Extremely happy and purchasing it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that I am one of those people who thinks they are organized but it is more in theory. Every month or two I say today is the day I am going to start being organized and it lasts for a few hours and then I go back to being scattered. I decided to try the Tru Red Starter Journal and really do it this time. I chose this journal specifically because I liked the way it looked professional and business like. It has a nice textured cover and elastic straps to hold papers and my hand fits perfectly under the elastic on the back so I won`t leave it places. When you open it there is a compartment under the front cover to slip in loose papers and business cards. The paper is nice quality and I like that there is a side of each page that has the hours marked so you can fill in your calendar. There are plenty of pages in the journal and at the end a nice page that tells you that you are finished and can sum up your best thoughts and sign it. I can`t wait to continue my journey of organization and plan to continue with the Tru Red line of journals.
