The braided USB micro cable works great with my iPhone that is equipped with a Mophie Juice Pack (standard Lighting attachments won’t work with a Juice Pack). Braided cables also hold-up longer to the rigors of constant use and usually won’t suffer from the splitting of the rubber ends that commonly occur on the stiffer rubber cables.

I bought this cord for myself and then two days later for my sister. We are pleased with the cord. When I bought the cord for my sister I was told about the insurance plan which the sales associate failed to tell me about two days prior when I bought my cord. I am kind of upset that I wasn't given that option to purchase the insurance for my cord because it would have been a good thing protecting my cord. Now I will be aware.

Unlike most standard cable this one is STURDY! It is wrapped and the connecting plugs have reinforcement on the connections. Don't think this one will give out very soon.
