Good price at about $1.42 each. Paper is very very thin (definitely much less than cheap 20# copy paper). You will easily see impressions on next page after writing. Page holds up to felt tip gel ballpoint and highlighter but bleeds through to next page with sharpies which was surprisingly good considering how thin the pages are. I had no problems with the perforation for tearing off pages.
Overall I love these eco-friendly note pads. The size paper weight feel and perforations are all good. However the photo is old. The cardboard top is blank. It wasn't printed with "Sustainable Earth by Staples " something I was hoping for. Overall recommend.
I bought these as an alternative to the recycled notepads that wouldn't bleed like mad and they have performed as desired. There is considerable show-through but that's hardly surprising with thin paper. Only the broadest of nibs bleed through. They're even usable with dip pens and all but the heaviest ink loads. All in all highly recommended.
