broke after a year with very little use

It broke after a year of very little use and it ate a very important document I needed. Luckily, I made a copy of it beforehand but I can't pry open this thing to see if i could get it back. Oddly, it still worked afterwards but only got a couple papers laminated before it started to eat papers again. Piece of junk!

Worked great out of the box. After a little over 1 year, rollers started failing to feed. I guess I'm going to buy a fellowes. Reason is I had bought a staples paper shredder, broke after 3 pieces of paper. Returned it and bought a fellows ahredder, and it's a beast. I dont think ill ever buy a staples branded product again.

used one time to laminate two sheets. put away in box, in the cupboard. took it out today and upon turning it on, the button collapsed inside the device. and no longer works.

Staples laminators don’t work! They crumble up your documents into an unreadable mess, they’re just plastic trash machines. I had to completely disassemble the thing to extract the mess, then reassemble it, but why bother. Do not buy!

Paper jam & release button does not work

I My company got this a few weeks ago & I’m the first to use.Laminated 20 documents & didn’t have a problem. Next doc paper jammed & release button doesn’t work. I can’t pull paper out & there’s no way to open it up & retrieve the jammed document. IIs this laminator meant to be disposable?Because it’s your most inexpensive laminator. I looked everywhere online & read the troubleshooting section of the documentation that came with the product ¬hing worked. I cannot pull paper out.
