My husband and I have small leather "booklets" that require this perfect size pad. We carry them with us in the car as well as using them at home. This one with 50 sheets to each pad is very practical and the Staples® brand is less expensive. This time I purchased them in the Staples® store but when I am ordering online or on the phone I always check to be sure we are not running low on these handy pads. In that way we can order one day and have delivery the next. We love Staples®.
I was looking for a small notepad that I could use to jot down quick notes or action items. Since these would all be thrown away quickly I wasn't too worried about quality or paper thickness and just wanted them to be cheap. What I hadn't realized was just how much quality had been sacrificed to get that cheaper price. While these pads are inexpensive and look like they'll do the job just fine when one opens the package one finds pages that are so thin and perforations that are so poorly stamped that any attempt to tear off a sheet just rips your note in two. The pages are also slick and thus stick together so you frequently find yourself tearing off two or more pages when you only wanted to take the top one. I found the apparent cost savings here to be a false economy and will be sure to purchase only non-Staples brand pads in the future.
