Sheet removal produces ragged edge

Sometimes the pads I have purchased over the years are perfectly perforated and the pages which are removed have straight edges. Other times the perforations and not placed correctly in the pad construction and removing pages produces very ragged edges. No consistency!

I enjoy the writing quality of the paper. The paper is thick and strong enough to handle all types of ink yet thin enough that I don't feel weighed down. It is easy to separate the pages.
