I bought this to be used at a very busy car dealership as an appointment board. I've found *painting* on the grid lines much better than using the vinyl tape. For some reason this board was a little trickier to get the paint to stick to it whereas other boards I've done I had no problem. BUT when I re-did it no problem. (I do not sand it first prior to painting as it's too tedious!) I also left off the tray (I like that option of not having to have it as I use the board on it's side veritically rather than horizontally with the tray would normally be used to hold markers and erasers.)

Nice sized board great instructions for mounting. However the front has half a dozen or so spots where the lamination arrived damaged. Too big of a pain to send it back to Staples so I’ll keep it but I would not buy this board again.

I needed a large dry-erase board to virtually teach my 5th grade class. It wasn't too difficult for my husband and I to put up; however it would have been easier if there was a pattern to assist w/ placing the anchor screws -- we used a yard stick and level. I do recommend buying drywall anchors. and the top brackets were very difficult -- nigh impossible -- to tighten down. It was a necessary purchase a little more than I'd have like to have spent but... important.

The whiteboard was easy to install and has held up very well. Wall mounted in daughters room (high school junior) very helpful for keeping her organized and with honors chemistry AP bio etc. The board is always full and has been very helpful especially around exam times.
