Serves the purpose though the sheets themselves are actually 10 7/8 inches when torn off not a full 11 inches. Good weight but still a slight shadow of ink from other side so not excellent. I'd prefer the lines to go all the way to the edge as I'd been familiar with for the past sixty years of writing on thin-lined pads. But the pads will serve the purpose well enough. Thanks to Staples for having ANY thin lined pads....
