I love the bluish color as it is easy on the eyes. The narrow ruled is fine and I don't even mind the place for the date in the upper left corner those as others have mentioned it is not a necessity. The backing is my favorite. The firmness of the board is really fabulous. I think heavy duty is the new standard for me.
