Almost a hardcover stiffer binding than earlier versions. Has only one bookmarking ribbon earlier versions has two. Half the price of moleskin and all the functionality.

the hardcover makes it easier to write in and its big enough that it will stay open easily when I write in it and its easy to write close to the spine as compared to smaller journals.
